"Thank you, my prince, that I've dreamed of, for appearing before me"
"All day, I wait for the moon to rise in the sky
Because when the night comes, I can talk to you"
He sat down next to me, not too close, but not stranger-far, and tilted his head up. The moonlight caught against his profile and outlined his face in a beautiful silhouette. Just like that, we looked at the stars even though our thoughts started to fill of each other.
The way we live, there’s not enough time to get to know someone. We could have 365 days and still not know how a person twists and turns and what makes them sad. How can we know someone when we barely recognize ourselves?
But if you think about it, all it may take is 365 minutes. 6 hours and 50 minutes may be all it takes for someone to pique your interest, start up a conversation, or become your confidant. There’s something enticing about spilling secrets to strangers. And that’s oddly…naive of us. Pure even. Somehow, despite spending all of our life looking for one person, 6 hours and 50 minutes may be all we need to find someone we deserve.
There isn’t much difference between 365 days and 365 minutes except the way you spend it.
