Twenty-year-old Willow Díaz wants two things: to successfully open an art exhibition dedicated to her father, the well-known Puerto Rican painter Leo Díaz, and to be in love for the rest of her life. As she fights to keep a balance between the two, the painful memory of her father begins to affect her art and the abrupt ending of her four-year relationship leaves her devastated.
This unexpected breakup awakens her soulmate's feelings within her, creating a dependency on this new, invigorating emotion. The illusion soon crashes down when his feelings come in the form of Maximiliano Abelló, the assigned photographer for her upcoming exhibition.
Now, forced to work with him, she tries her best not to fall in love with the the guy who embodies the strongest emotions she's felt in her life. But, as their worlds collide, her dependency on being loved meets his lack of needing it.
