The Boy, The Girl, And The Guitar
Bennett Foster and Cat Lopez are polar opposites.
Cat is a bubbly, loud, teenager with more problems in her fragile life than the hairs on her head, including an abusive father and a mother's suicide. To escape the brokenness of her own life, she fixes everyone else.
Bennett is a shy, introverted, troubled boy who only
values guitar playing and the notebook his father gave him.
When he moves to California with his mother to escape the affairs of his father, he's expecting to blend into the crowd once again only to be put under the spotlight by none other than Cat Lopez.
Once a strange relationship starts forming between the two over a shared guitar, they both come to understand the harsh truth:
. . . They're more broken than they realized.
And when yet another tragedy strikes Cat's fragile life, will Bennett be there to soften the blow?
