Alex Black is the popular bad boy. He's an open book, and everyone knows what he's capable of. Everyone knows what he does, and everyone wants him. He plays games that can get you hung by your throat.
Two completely different social ladders, two completely different personalities, two types of people, that will cause chaos when put together.
During a mission, Lira's ambitious side causes her to shoot Alex, and that's when everything goes down hill. A game starts, a game that'll weave through the shadows of the school, the lingering lights of the night, and objects in plain sight.
Apart from the red splatters of a human, and scars from silver triangles, there's the fact their feelings get in the way of everything else.
"I know it was you." He whispers close to me. To close for my safety.
His lips were touching my jaw, and his nose was brushing my cheek. Those long dark eyelashes mesmerizing me as they cast small shadows onto his cheekbones. They were a closing gateway to his beautiful pale green eyes.
His fingers start to glide up my arms sending shivers from his cold touch. I wanted more, my skin was itching to be touched like that again. Only by him.
But he had a knife, and so did I.
