As she begins to work her magic upon the girls, their cousin throws a wrench into her plans.

Philip, the earl of Dryden is unlike any man she has met before. Though, Olivia has not often come into contact with many men, having spent her life at a school for girls in Bath. Nonetheless, as feelings grow and change, she makes a difficult decision that ensures certain ruin.

If you’re going to base your story so heavily on Jane Eyre, would you pretty please give credit to your influence (Charlotte Bronte)??

I'm looking forward to this, it's such an interesting premise. No one ever writes from the viewpoint of a woman who decides to become a mistress.

I loved this chapter! It was so clearly written with skill! I can't wait to see just what happens to Olivia in her position!
