Self proclaimed emotionally detached weirdo, Cordelia Evans, is a girl as ordinary as they come. With the minor exception of a mouth without a filter, a tendency to swear enough to make a sailor blush sixty shades of scarlett and a zero-fucks-given attitude. Her aim for senior year is just to make it through, as the delicate thread that holds her life together slowly starts to unravel.
What she isn't prepared for is a supposedly stray cat that starts showing up in her room every day, a new neighbour moving next door and him changing the life she's been seemingly content to live. She's compelled to consider that perhaps the boy who infuriates her to the point of no return might just be her saving grace.
"Because in the end, the best thing you can do is be yourself."
"So be yourself. Just be unapologetically Cordelia."
