Alice Henderson has always been told she's got her mind in Wonderland. She longs for an adventure in her life like the Alice she pretends she's named after. 

When her brother Dustin's friend Will goes missing in November 1983, she gets what she wished for-and it's not quite as dreamy as she hoped. Dustin, Mike, and Lucas are running wild with a quiet girl with superpowers, Alice's best friend goes missing, and strange things happen left and right that have Alice questioning her sanity. 

Alice will do anything to protect her brother, learn about her past, and stay alive to go to the Snow Ball, even if it means fighting monsters and making allies in unexpected places.
