The Once and Future Presidents
A new world. A new war. Same old heroes...
In a future ravaged by drought and crime, democracy has been reduced to a reality entertainment show. Great heroes from the past are being cloned and raised to compete in a series of entertaining and dangerous Primaries. Watched nightly by the entire nation, these teenage legends must battle against each other to win the ultimate prize- the Presidency, or face permanent 'retirement'.
When lonely outsider, Arthur Jackson, discovers he is a clone of George Washington, he is thrown into the cut-throat world of 'The Democracy Games.' Soon he finds himself competing against the other legendary Candidates- Kennedy, King, Tubman and Franklin, in a series of desperate challenges, where failure is not an option. But before long, Arthur starts to suspect that he is playing a much bigger, deadlier game. He's not just running the race for the White House, he's running for his life.

"It's AWESOME. It's really, really well written, like professional level, and edge-of-your-seat exciting. You like dystopians? You'll love The Once and Future Presidents."
