The Lotus and the Dragonfly

Mia wakes up locked in a basement, terrified and confused. Her only means of communicating are through a wooden door, to her captor Tom, who is clearly a psychotic monster. She uses the art of storytelling as a means of seduction, with drama, sex, mystery, and suspense. In other words, exciting stories that demand a sequel, so that she can survive another day to plot her escape.
The story draws the reader write in, a voyeur to horror....and then redemption.
