There are hundreds of fantastic books about writing for hopeful authors to choose from, but most of them are boring, complicated, and bogged down by filler. This little book is brief, straight forward, and easy to understand. I hope it will serve as an easy-to-read manual to help serious writers perfect their craft. I should say right off the bat that I am NOT an expert; I forget my own tips all the time! However, I do know what generally works for me, so I thought I could pass it on to my friends at Wattpad. One last note: this book is for writers who have a basic understanding of grammar and story structure. If you’re interested in more fundamental steps you can take to write a great story, check out the companion to this book!

None of the above. 😭 I don’t even write descriptions, (I just use a quote instead) my characters are boring, they act just like the person playing them & my intro would make Mr. King laugh in my face, plus my writing needs some improvement. 😞

This reminds me of what my teacher told us about writing suspense. Except she used an example of someone planing a bomb in a car, and a family entering the car and beginning to drive home.

I completely agree. I was waiting through the entire first book to see which one of then would die. Then they just pull a "oh they both live, because rainbows and ponies." It's not an original plot twist people. Get over it.
As much as it kills me, I've noticed that the best books always have a it of tragedy
