Neither Reason nor Rhyme
❝Will you write me a poem?❞
❝For you, Hazel, I'll write an entire novel.❞
Hazel Sanders had everything. She had a (mostly) loving family, a fantastic talent for drawing, and a relatively great life. And the day that she lost everything was the day that she realized that she even had it. Hazel becomes hospitalized after a tragic accident, one that takes the lives of the people she loved and cared about, but not only that. The accident also took from her the one sense most valuable to an artist: her eyesight.
She's lacking hope and wants nothing more than to turn back the clock and to be with her family. To Hazel, there was no other way to truly be happy again.
She realizes she's wrong once she encounters strange and whimsical Silas, who works at the same hospital as a volunteer. He introduces Hazel to a new type of happiness--a love that comes in forms so unexpected, one that makes her believe in a rainbow after the storm. What Hazel knows but neglects to believe is that life has many storms to offer, and she has yet to endure more.
