I said, "There's been something off about me ever since I was born.❞ Olympia could see ghosts all her life. They are the voices in the dark, the whispers behind her, the shadows in the streets. They haunt her and they make her life hell. One, dark evening, after her boss decides he can harass her as a small payment for a promotion he gave her, Olympia quits and drives as far as she can, before stopping in the woods of upstate New York. But it's Halloween and dangerous creatures lurk on a night when the veil between worlds is thinnest. So when a murderous ghost gives chase after her, Olympia runs for her life, consequently ramming into a stranger who can see ghosts, just like her. This stranger is beautiful and odd and seems to understand her more than anybody else. So when he saves her and offers her a job at a paranormal investigation agency, in return for his help, she takes it. From then on, Olympia begins to learn about the paranormal world, the profession of ghost hunting, and the warmth of love and friendship. But what will they do when the darkness begins creeping in?
