The Incurable Age: An Original Novel
The Stone Age, The Bronze Age, there has been a lot of development throughout human history ... but what if you lived in an age where thousands of people dropped dead everyday because of one thing? A disease. At first it didn't seem like a big deal, humanity has survived plenty of outbreaks.
Plague of Athens 427-429 BC , Antonine Plague 165-180, Plague of Justinian 541-542, Black Death 1347, Typhus in the Thirty Years War 1618-1648, Influenza 1918-1919, HIV / AIDS 1960, Measles 2015 and so forth. This was peculiar and fascinating, the disease had many different types and always went for the most vital functions. It came so suddenly nobody had any natural immunity. No one was spared. The first version caused your lungs to liquefy and you coughed them up, if that didn't happen it inhibited your body's ability to clot and you would bleed to death ... even from a paper cut, sometimes if you were lucky if the bacteria destroys fat, skin, and tissue covering the muscles. I don't think anyone can all themselves lucky, of all things for being slowly eaten alive. Upon discovery you and anyone who has visited you in the past week is now quarantined and given less than a few days to live, even if you only shared a handshake. It was so quick that if you fell asleep you would be dead in the morning. With the illness being so easily spread robots had to take care of us. Now we take care of them. There's a small, tiny detail though, I am a robot. What should I expect as the enemy fighting the enemy?
