Star Wars: The Soldier
Kalc doesn't know how it happened. One moment, he was fighting for the glory of the Republic beside a karking Sith Pureblood, for the Force's sake. The next, he was waking up on a cold slab and getting carbon sick. Yeah. Because apparently some bar've knocked him out and froze him several hundred years ago. Everyone Kalc knows is dead. The Mirialan Confederacy has been confined to the history books and something happened with the ladies. This thing called the Clone Wars, though? It's just another fight that he's getting paid to win.
Some things are still the same: he's getting told to lighten up and the Jedi are still a royal pain in the shebs.
Enter Ross. Probably the one being that isn't looking at him like he just sprouted another head. Clone trooper, whatever that means, and pretty tired of the system. Ross is nothing like Kalc, though. He's not exactly a rule follower and there's just something about that smile of his.
Maybe it's enough to give this soldier a reason to fight.
