This is a Fairy Tail fan-fiction: Natsu X My character (Serenity Rose, the Water Dragon Slayer).

Natsu appeared next to her, falling to his knees and cupping her bloodstained face in his large, calloused hands. "Serenity... Serenity... Serenity," he chanted over and over, his dark-eyes filling with tears. "You're going to be okay." Leaning over, he kissed her forehead. "You hear me! You're going to be okay."

"Na...tsu," she croaked, her eyes slowly fluttering closed, as she no longer had the energy to keep them open.

Serenity Rose has a strange destiny.

All her life she's been fighting to protect the people that she loves, but they all seem to leave her anyway. However, that changes when she and her adoptive sister, Lucy Heartfilia, join the famous guild Fairy Tail. She finds strength from the people there; they teach her what it's like to be loved, they show her just how powerful she can be, and they give her a reason to continue fighting even when the battle seems lost.

An evil is growing, however. Threatening to take control of her and harm the people that have found their ways into her heart.
