The secret he tried to hide
"I'm gonna ask you this one more time, how much for keeping your mouth shut" He said through gritted teeth.
"I'm not for sale" I repeated. He made a step toward me with anger in his eyes.
"I'm not scared of you, you know?" I said calm, looking straight into his blue eyes "There is a benefit in not having anything to loose. You're unbreakable"
He looked at me, his jaw clenched. He passed a hand through his messy dark hair.
I got him mad, I knew that very well. I should've been scared. Just a few months back, I would've been. But now, now I was a completely different person, in a completely different world. It was just like if I had seen for the first time. My mind and my view had been blurred and I just opened my eyes.
He could've hit me, but that would only have a short time relief. And also, he couldn't really afford to have me leaving with bruises, there were too many people around.
I smirked, as much as he was angry, I left him hopeless. He didn't have a choice if he wanted to keep his reputation. I was breaking him, and I knew as soon as he sighed.
"I need to think this straight. I'll let you know my answer on Monday".
"It's not like you can work yourself out of the situation" I said. But he knew. He hoped it wasn't like this, but he knew.
I held something over him, and oh, I was so going to use it to my advantage.
