Todoroki starts to fall for the green haired boy, and makes it obvious. But Midoriya doesn't want to let anyone near him, he is scared of love because of his past. He always pushes people away because he is scared that things might repeat. It's his biggest fear. Eventually Midoriya agrees to go on a date with Todoroki, but only if he'll pass the math test. On top of that Midoriya isn't telling his name to Todoroki to tease him a bit, for the sake of fun, what causes that his nickname from Todoroki is '7am'.
