Taylor is unhappy with her life, with a dead-end job at Harold Bank Plc., a drinking problem, hardly any friends and no family.

But she was not expecting her life to get so drastically turned up-side-down after a rather hair-raising escape from a highly usual attack. She suddenly realises that there is much more to life than meets the eye; there is a world deliberately hidden, kept secret for centuries, and Taylor is suddenly in the middle of it!

Talks of a secret government agency, horrific violent demons that can shape shift, a strange family who can transform into wolves and a portal to a place everyone calls the Underworld. She soon realises that she has to choose who to trust and who not to trust, as she is suddenly a prime suspect!
