The Invisible Mirror
The city is swarming with villains, and the police had long given up on stopping them. All hope seemed lost as the villains took over, and the death count rose day by day. The villains became known as After Images, a corporation known for leaving behind chaos in their wake. That is, until one day, a hero emerged from the shadows and took care of the villains one by one. This one hero was eventually joined by others, and their numbers grew until an alliance of superheroes arose. This alliance of superheroes became known as Clockhearts, and they took it upon themselves to ensure that After Image never corrupted the city again.
Kat Myles certainly never asked to be a superhero, but like they said, with great power came great responsibility. Like the hero of any other superhero story, Kat was an orphan, and she was taken in by her grandparents when she was six. She was most displeased when her seemingly normal life was interrupted by the sudden (and rather dramatic) appearance of her power. As if it weren't already difficult enough balancing her normal life and her superhero life, her days as a solo superhero were interrupted by an invitation sent by Clockhearts. With great reluctance, Kat accepts the invitation, only to find out some interesting information pertaining to her dead parents and mysterious past. Kat is faced with a difficult decision as she decides whether she is ready to become the hero this city needs, or succumb to the darkness.
