Cheetah Pride: The Great Journey
It had been many days since we had been driven out of our territory to journey to Cheetah Pride. This was a place where many cheetah ran free, and there was a plentiful amount of food for us wind cats. Green grass and fresh water filled the land, as my mother had spoken of it. If only we had been there before the wolves had attacked. Then again, though, me and Fallan were only cubs when it had happened, so we didn't have much of a choice. It wasn't very likely that they would be there now, or ever, thank the Skycat. Fallan and I were litter-mates, living with my mother when we were dragged out of the den at night and my mother was slaughtered by Ash, the starwolf, or alpha of the pack. After Mom was killed, I hunted for and protected Fallan. Hannah was a prisoner of the wolves, and I had freed her, which was how the young cheetah came to traveling with me and my sister. I sighed. When would it all end? The suffering, the traveling, the greif and loss..
