There are many things you shouldn't do when writing.

There are limits, though. Being too overly descriptive or using overly poetic words will turn off your reader.
                              
                              Indeed, description is an absolute necessity in writing, but you can't overdo it. It would undoubtedly make your writing laughable or just make your reader skim over, bored.

I am guilt of half of a good third of these.... I'm sure my readers hate my 3 page chapters, but I swear that they are like 20 pages long on my Word document!

 #11 says, "please capitalize you're title". Should be "your", not "you're". Easy mistake but that kind of stuff just bothers me to no end. :) As #11 says, I am, in fact, an OCD reader!
