Alice Smith has lost the only person she's ever loved, and she can't help but blame herself. She thinks that if she'd stayed with him, he would have never slit his wrists. After he died she froze - her body temperature dropped and she hardly lets her emotions show. Having just lost Cody, her best friend and the only person she would ever run to she finds herself lost. To make things worse people are cruel, and she gets a taste of what true emotional agony feels like. Can a certain David Guro, a boy who also finds himself effected by the loss that has left Alice so broken help her pick up the pieces, or will the comfort Alice finds in his arms be taken when she needs it the most?
