In a world under the rule of a universal government, Sirena, a daughter of Aqua, one of the vital faces of the government, leaves her sector at the age of eighteen to attend a gathering of The Four Elements with her father. Being that Aqua and the other Elements are considered gods to the ignorant, Sirena has never known the pangs of suffering until she is faced with a life altering decision to never return to the underwater society of her father. Her indiscretion leads her to an arcane malevolence hither to unperceived by her-animate corpses who rise from their graves each night to drain the blood of the living.
Unaware of the nature of these strangers, Sirena is trapped in between a monarchy under Elementum, and the Prince Of The Dead, determined to recover his castle. Knowing that she is now at the mercy of whoever deigns to take notice of her, she cannot repress a strange fascination with the seraphic creature who haunts her nights-there is something sleepily familiar about him-what is it?
