The Summer She Was Naked
The first problem: Steph didn't even want to go to the stupid rally, let alone meet stupid tall, tan Cole at the same time her parents met stupid tall, tan Cole's youth leaders. The stupid part was that then, said youth leaders went on to convince Steph's parents to visit their hometown in Wisconsin and partake in a stupid service project with stupid tall, tan Cole's youth group, and no, Steph is not happy about it.
The second problem: Not only do her stupid parents agree to the absurd idea, the three of them promptly fly on out to stupid Wisconsin immediately because of course nothing can be thought through when it comes to Steph's stupid parents. But really, the second problem is that once they get there, they learn that they'll be staying with stupid tall, tan Cole's family in their giant, ancient farmhouse, and no, Stephanie isn't happy about this either, because she's pretty sure the Rivers' are crazy.
The third problem: And worst of all, Stephanie has to go and catch sight of stupid Robbie Hanson, who is as close to the definition of 'perfect' any human being, let alone a boy, has ever come in the history of ever, and to salvage the stupid situation, Steph wanted nothing more than to aggressively make out with him as much as she possibly could with hopes of forgetting where she was and what she was doing with her life and why it currently sucked. But stupid Robbie didn't like girls like Stephanie, and thus the problem. And obviously, Stephanie wasn't happy about this one bit.
The silver lining: While she may have zero control over the first two problems, Stephanie could and would fix the third one.
