In a post-apocalyptic world, the future seems bleak for the human race. After finding out the Earth cannot sustain life much longer, a newly elected government has plans for human kind. The leader wants to colonize Mars in order to save the human race. However, when Aliens are discovered on Mars, eleven year old John's life is turned upside down when he and other children are recruited to fight for mankind's future survival. But things aren't as they seem as John soon finds out. Does the government have secret motives?

@ThePainted Thanks for your feedback! and yeah I think your right, but I am working on developing the characters as the story progresses so we get to know them as more things happen in the story...  =)

It had a nice start, and it's original and clever and everything, but it's just too fast. Everything's all mushed together, there isn't any time to develop the characters and I'm not feeling any connection to the main character. Sorry but that's essential in the first chapter...
