The Broken Border | ✔️
"Are hope and faith too absurd and futile in this war?"
For Miranda Montmorency, having to remain silent, unable to do anything in a massive war going on between her kingdom and another kingdom has never been easy to tolerate. Inspired by the courage of her warrior father, who has sacrificed himself to save many lives in a battle, and touched by the infinite grief of the people around her, she has always sought out for a chance to do something that could be helpful for her nation. However, her wish only stays as a wish, for her kingdom forbids girls to participate in war, and her mother keeps her strictly in hiding, in the village of Cellynberge - a shelter hidden between forests.
Just as she starts to settle down, attacks once again appear, people go missing, the shield protecting the village is shattered to pieces. Oliver Jonathan - a Cellynberge local, tells Miranda a true story about the cure that could solve it all. Torn between her will to go find the cure that produces even more than the healing both kingdoms want, and the promise to keep herself safe with her father, Miranda has to come to a hard decision. Is this what she's always wished to do, or is she luring herself and her loved ones right into the hands of Death?
