Fall of Kings: Rise of the Silver Hand / Wat...
The first instalment to the Fall of Kings series.
A storm brews to the shrieks of chaos. And the cries of agony.
An ancient darkness has awoken from the mountain depths. A sinister plot unfolds in the heart of the city. And the Silver Hand rises, ready to purge.
War is coming. Kings and lords will fall. And the mages will face their ultimate fate.
During his younger years, a horrific incident occurred, and Cullen discovered he was a mage. An individual bestowed with astonishing powers, and able to perform magic. Since then, he has been ridiculed by religious fanatics and tormented by the vast majority in fear and envy of his powers. He has never known a normal life. He has never known peace.
Years later, well into the young years of adulthood, Cullen sails for the tumultuous lands of Helmsmere. A realm threatened to be torn apart by the rising political, religious and radical tensions, and the impending Valroyan invasion.
Nothing has prepared him for what he is about to face. An ancient shadow has awoken within the depths of the mountains, and the long lost Legion of a once extinct race is on the move. Anarchy consumes the streets of the Iron City, and Cullen is torn when his family becomes victim to mage killers; a mysterious, pernicious cult, known as the Silver Hand.
In a race against time, a vengeful Cullen and his companions are pushed to their limits and find themselves at the centre of cataclysmic events. War is coming. And the many tensions between mages and the people of Helmsmere are brought to an explosive clash.
