"So you ended up here again, huh?" he asked, giving me his signature smile which could make anyones day better. He leaned again his door, staring at me intensely.
"I guess so." I answered quietly, biting down nervously on my lip.
I couldn't help but notice how his eyes zeroed in on my mouth. It caused my cheeks to redden and I had to look away because his glance made me nervous. It made me feel things I shouldn't. My heartbeat quickened and it was at least a billion butterflies in my stomach.
He wouldn't stop staring at me, his gaze was burning into my soul. He wanted to challenge me to tell him the truth about why I was here. Just like everytime I came, I looked up at him again and gave a shy smile.
"I'm just here to visit Ashton." I said.
It wasn't a total lie seeing as Ashton was my brother, and we had a a close sister and brother bond so we often hung out. However, Ashton was Luke's roomie, which was also a reason I wanted to come here. I never told Luke that though.
Luke just chuckled, shaking his head slowly as he leaned down to my ear. I sucked in a breath at how close we were and I had to focus on the floor just so I wouldn't do something stupid like leaning into him or something.
"Somehow, I don't believe that, Olivia." Luke drawled out, making sure to let his lips brush my ear.
