Vance was an ex-criminal running from the Cross Syndication, an infamous criminal organization. Gabriel was the young fool who stumbled into a deadly situation ... and stayed.

"Run until you're bleeding from the soles of your sore feet and the breath you had once inhaled is nothing but the hopeless, unavoidable, reminder of our defeat," Vance murmured bitterly. "Run because afraid was all we ever were ... and all we'll ever be."

I can't help my perverted mind imagining inappropriate situations that might happen between them! Gabriel is just a innocent little thing in my eyes despite the crime he committed

Is Gabriel homeless or does he have major family problems? This has been bugging me for quiet a while now because I can't figure it out.

Idkay but water bottles are pretty long in my country of the US. Unless you got them gold digging pockets, or they're mini sized, that's not possible.

Arghie is obviously awesome because this chapter is absolutely amazing! I was hooked from the first few paragraphs, they were really well written. Thanks for the writing, Hec and thank for the support Arghie!
I hate that when I read “run” the beat drop plays in my head.
