I watched terrified as the car crashed. I was standing outside, the cold winter wind whipped my face making my cheeks sting not only from the tears of horror and pain dripped down my chilled face and onto my shoulders sweetly soaking my shirt. Hearing his scream shattered my heart. I ran over to the broken car and smashed the glass with my hand. I didn't care when I felt the glass shards punture my skin. I dived into the car and pulled him out. I couldn't hear anything. I couldn't see anything but him lying there. His crushed figure. I could see myself shaking violently as whispers filled my eyes. The wind blew the hair out of my face, and I brushed some of the sticky blood from his face. I leaned down. "Please, please, please, please." I was sobbed into his broken shoulder. The shoulder that I knew I could always lean on. He was the one person I knew that I could always count on. When I was hurt, or sad, or broken, or lost. All I needed was him. All was left, was him. "Please don't leave me," I begged. But, with his cold, white face and still chest I knew that he was already dead. I just didn't want to admit it yet. Now, all I needed was for someone to save me.
