Justine and Firdaus used to be best friends, since they were seven. Like in every clichéd teen fiction book, Justine let it into her head that she - practically a tomboy - was in love with Firdaus, and he with her. Suddenly she believed that the school's most handsome, rich and popular guy would like her, because why not? So she did the one thing she regretted most later: she basically told the whole world that she liked him.

Talk about the greatest mistake ever made in history.

What she didn't expect was that he would snub- no, humiliate her. Justine swore her heart would never love again.

But maybe Firdaus wants to be best friends again, maybe he wants them to be something more...?

For the record, I think you described his feelings pretty well. Great writing, I love it!
