Elizabeth Nelson has been an Agent for the Group for over twelve years. Her job? Disposing of murderers, rapists and pedophiles. But after twelve years of dealing with the worst that society has to throw at you, you’re bound to make a few mistakes. After her most recent assignment goes horribly wrong, she is transferred to another department, where she is told to keep a close watch on John Shepard, a man whose failed suicide attempt has left him with a mild concussion, and something more. When she shows up on his doorstep scant hours after his fall, he begins having intensely horrifying visions of murder; murder that hasn’t happened yet. In order to survive the tale that unfolds within, Elizabeth and Shepard will have to overcome their animosity towards one another and learn how to trust in a way they never had to before. In the end, they will face their greatest fears to make the ultimate choice: save the ones they love, or the world in which they live.
