The small town of Timbavari, hides in the golden heart of South Africa. All of her residents are refugees, allowed to live there, protected from the things outside her borders that want them dead. But there is a price for the protection the town offers, all citizens are seen as cattle, a blood source for the terrifying creatures that ensure their safety.
When the witch in control of Timbavari, becomes sickly and nears the end of her reign, she cleverly devises a new protector. One that will shatter their peaceful existence and raise their sins back to light, for all to see. A man they once banished and burned, has returned home, their safety and happiness now in his hands. His eyes are set on a gifted seer, a young girl who will be their saviour or the very means of their destruction. The race now begins for her alliance, to help her overcome the curse of her gift, that have driven all her family members insane.
