All Ends With Black
Being shot through the heart would render any normal person dead. Unless you're Heike. Then you can't die.
Trapped between the realms of life and death, Heike learns of the two different paths a deceased person faces: one, they're admitted to the afterlife; two, they're deemed a sinner and forced to spend eternal life on earth.
The realm behind the curtains is harsher than any mortal can fathom. Mass killings, suicide pacts, arson--all are commonplace here, yet no crime numbers more than the blasphemy scrawled across the walls. In this world of the damned, only one light shines--a fallen angel by the name Isaac di Acroina. With his arrogance and quick-witted charisma, he unites and divides the sinners for fun. However, once he meets Heike, his games just. . . stop.
Amongst blood-stained streets invisible to the mortal eye, Heike learns that his inability to die may be more useful than previously thought. . . but Isaac won't let him mingle with the damned so easily. Forced underneath the boy's overprotective grip, Heike is faced with a single decision--revolt against the angel's wishes and aid the sinners into the afterlife, or succumb to the conventional sense of right and wrong that seems to be tearing the world apart at its very foundation.
