Due to a traumatic event in the past, Milena has lost the ability to speak. With her family of travelers she follows the Long Road. They stake their wagons for a short period of time and then move on to the next place, following the voice of the wind. It is all the she has ever known. 

But what happens when she finds herself seperated from her family and the one she loves because of an accident and is thrust into a culture she does not understand? Will she be able to build a new life here and possiby find new love? Or will the wind call her home?

I have read all 28 chapters and I'm very curious to know who she ends up with, I really hope she finds her way back home. And when is a new chapter coming up.

I definitely agree with @perfectRain about the adverbs. Some should be taken it out for an easier read :)
                              But other than that, Fan-freakin-tastic. I like the idea of the story and the old-timey dialogue is a nice touch ;)

I like the beginning even though it's short.  I think you've made it mysterious and I'm interested in reading more to find out what's going to happen.  I love your mute Milenka already!  I'm adding this to my library!
