The Art of Ambiguity
The secret is out. Adam Burton drew Callie O'Rourke to South Carolina that warm summer night in June. Or more specifically his unexplained death. Ironically, it was also the reason for her packing up a car and going home to her dad's farm -- this time with Luke Hampton in tow.
Callie's never been any good at solving mysteries, but she needs to know what happened that fateful night. It the only way she can hope to be okay. Luke vows he'll do anything it takes to help her get there, even if it means putting his life on hold, driving two thousand miles, and confronting some ghosts of his own along the way.
Time on the road and time together put some of the pieces into place, while others float to the surface, muddying the water, challenging what they think and feel. United, will Callie and Luke be able to find the answers they're looking for or will they drown in the ambiguity?
Sink or Swim #2. Rough draft.
