The Game, Drew, is On!
[Quite infrequent updates, sorry]
Andrew Rhys "Drew" Taylor has returned from dreadful years in the Russian Federation, dismissed under permission of the British Government - after being found in England - during the hunt for his location when presumed 'Missing In Action' post-War.
Andrew's mother is dead, and his father is a helpless drunk - trying but not trying enough. He is struggling to fit into this modern world, struggling to forget memories of his past - both post-War and pre-War. But as he familiarises himself with the dull and placid lifestyle of the citizens around him, he notices things that no ordinary man or woman has ever seen.
Uses his newfound knowledge and ability, he resorts to crime as his saviour from boredom and misunderstanding and his conscience gradually fades away. However, with crime comes technicalities, discretion and rule-breaking which doesn't sit well with Government and Federation but he refuses to live amongst the land of the robotic, boring and free - nor amongst the land of rotten, horrid prisoners.
Though what his corrupt, yet brilliantly intelligent, mind did not anticipate was to cross paths with two famously-known men and to be thrown, head-first, into a world of adrenaline, discovery, emotion and mystery - a world he had prayed long and hard most nights that he could leave behind for good.
This is where he belongs.
And to top it off, there's a murderer on the loose who just happens to have an artistic flare upon his work...
"The Game, Drew, is On!"
I do not claim any of the BBC Sherlock characters, however i do claim responsibility of my own original protagonist and the plotline of this story.
The Game does not wait for anybody, or anything for that matter.
