Amenage Me// n.h. au
"I can't change you. I can't change anybody. I'm not a fucking superhero. I'm not anything!" I spat with my files fluttering to the floor, "I'm just your therapist, that's it, that's all. I've learned over these past few months that..." I asserted while stabilizing my breathing, "That's all I want to-."
My voice seized to permit words from escaping my mouth as I watched her continue to be in a state of disbelief, exasperation- oddly coupled with despondency. All the time I'd spent with her, countless appointments- they'd only led to her desolation.
I wasn't her hero in the slightest.
She childishly shook her head about, her titanian colored hair strewn about as she pulled at it aggressively.
She was only a child, that's all she'd ever be.
She needed help. I just couldn't be the one to give it to her anymore.
I swallowed before beginning to speak, though I guess the pep-talk I'd just managed to summon from a mind full of doubt would no longer be needed, she was going to speak instead.
"I know and I don't want you to change me." She interjected my upcoming speech with her words and untamable tawny pigmented eyes, which only tired me the longer I looked into them for some form of unwavering solution to this human puzzle.
"What then- what do you want me to do?"
