To Date Again?
Claire Jennings is a successful black woman. Yes, they do exist. For the past ten years, she has owned a little bakery, Sweet Treats, on the corner of Red Road. She knows they have the best treats around, her customers say so themselves.
Being successful in one's work life and love life can seem impossible. Dating has not been a piece of cake for her. It's been filled with disappointment, awkward silence, and false hope. What she doesn't know is that her 16 year old daughter has behind her failing dates. She has intentionally sabotaged her past relationships.
Thalia Jennings is what has went wrong with each and every one of them. Her mother values her opinion, always asking her personal thoughts on each guy she dates. Like always, Thalia finds something wrong with them. She's heard it all. They're too small, too bald, too bland, too talkative, and too ignorant.
But when her mom finds one who isn't easily scared away, Thalia Jennings is going to have to step it up and come up with a new and improved game plan.
Note From The Author:
This is going to be similar but very different from the Find Me A Dad. Imagine if Sophy Little wasn't the one who wanted to find herself a dad but Sierra instead was the one on the hunt and Sophy was not having. If you can imagine than, then you'll get an idea of what this book is about.
