Senescence: Instincts (A Zombie Novel)
"There are bloody corpses everywhere, some still moaning as dead men chomp on their flesh and gnaw at their bones. Others should be dead, maybe they are dead, but they’re walking, their entrails swinging from side to side with each step, glistening in the moonlight."
It's the end of summer. Zeke and his friends are in the wilderness of Romania where they're frantically fighting to stay alive. An archaeology excavation in the Carpathian Mountains has resulted in their isolation while the rest of the world fell to pieces around them without them even knowing.
Now, surrounded by the horrors of the walking dead, each and every one of them must learn to kill, knowing every move could be their last. But is it really possible to forget everything and everyone you've ever known and loved in order to go on living? Forced to resort to traditional survival skills which, only weeks before, they were learning about in class, each day is a battle. But with the looming threat of a vicious Romanian winter ahead, there are more ways to die than being bitten.
WARNING: Contains adult language, gore and occasional scenes of a sexual nature.
This is my first horror/zombie novel so any feedback is, as ever, appreciated. If you feel it's good enough please do vote and I will try to update this regularly.
>> NOTE: This is merely a first draft of the book and I won't be uploading the finished product on here as I am going to try and publish it. Although I will upload beginning to end on here, I am then going to go back and edit far more detail into my actual manuscript before hopefully sending it to some agents. Thank you for your understanding!
If you want to leave a link to your book in your comments, feel free and I will try to get round to reading it and commenting back!
