A (Very) Cliché Story
Highest rank: #471 in Humor
"What? What do you want with me?" I shouted. He looked at me with fierce eyes, and I couldn't look away.
"I can't answer you if I have now idea what you're talking about, now can I!"
"Why do you insist on following me around everywhere?" I looked at him with accusing eyes. "And when I tell you to leave me alone, you waltz right back into my life as if you own it! Why do torture me this way?"
He stepped closer to me so slowly, and I couldn't be patient. "If you're not going to answer, I'm leaving."
I went to the door and put my hand on the handle when I heard his voice.
"Because, Veronica, I think I love you."
Veronica is your typical high school student in her senior year. She's swamped with homework and college applications, and she also has a lovely boyfriend, Caleb Brown.
When Caleb breaks up with Veronica in a way only the devil could, she just can't stop thing about him. Even when the new boy next door was walking on hot coals in the middle of the summer heat in the Serra Desert. Yeah, he was that hot, and he went by the name of Lucas Goodman.
Lucas can't help but fall in love with Veronica, but she can't seem to love him back. Not when all the memories of Caleb come flooding back like a tsunami.
Maybe this cliché story isn't so cliché after all.
