Due to Frisk being Soul Poisoned. A purified Chara resets the world to avoid Frisks permanent death.

Unfortunately, the only ones who know about the reset are Sans, The River Person and The Man Who Speaks With Hands. 

Frisk can't remember much from their previous pacifist run except for the love of her friends.
