IT CAME FROM THE TOILET!
Just when you though it was safe to pop a squat, drop a brick, squeeze the cheese and/or go number two comes the terrifyingly hilarious debut novel from the depraved mind of noted Internet humorist, Bookshelf Q. Battler.
A famous pop diva with a universally beloved derriere. A retired high school teacher in a nursing home. A beer swilling frat boy working on his tenth year of a two-year community college degree. What do these three seemingly unrelated individuals have in common? They all died on the toilet.
Yes, while these three victims were evacuating their bowels, a vicious killer splattered them all over the walls and vanished without a trace.
Hot on the killer's trail is FBI agent Sharon Walker, a no nonsense law enforcement officer forced to take an action she absolutely dreads, namely, working with her ex-husband, Cole, the Chief of Police of Sitwell, Florida, the town where the unruly college student met his untimely demise on the porcelain throne.
As the investigation widens, the Walkers draw support from the likes of Rusty Yates, Cole's dimwitted partner, Maude Fuller, Cole's foul mouthed, chain smoking dispatcher, Burt Norcross, an officer with a disturbingly funny medical condition, the epically buff bodybuilding FBI agent Gordon Bishop, not to mention Moses and Felix, a pair of hetero life mates/gun owners' rights advocates.
Wildly eccentric community college Professor Elliot Lambert might just have the information needed to blow this case wide open. Meanwhile, plucky TV reporter Natalie Brock, with the help of her obese and depressed cameraman Walter, will stop at nothing to cover this case, even if that means suffering the indignity of playing nice with perverted anchorman Kurt Manley.
