Dia Fletcher lives a quiet, ordinary life. Soft mornings. Warm tea. Gentle smiles. Until the dreams start. Dark hallways. Whispers. A house she's never seen - yet somehow remembers. Then she sees her. A girl with the same face. The same voice. Watching from mirrors. Her name is Hazel. And she shouldn't exist. Only Alaric, the boy who knows too much, seems to understand what's happening. But the closer Dia gets to the truth, the more reality begins to break. Because some nightmares aren't dreams. They're memories. And some reflections... Don't belong to you.

Well this is something more so for me then my audience, so I won't be talking about it on my board or otherwise. If anyone does find it, you are free to read it! (it is on a very public site/app soooo...) Just a gist on what this is going to be about: A journal to vent, talk about my day or feelings while writing, maybe even reviews on some books that I really liked. Basically, a dump of my inner thoughts and feelings because I need the space. If this doesn't interest you, do move on If, while reading, you decide to be the better person and comment so advice to help me if it seems like I need it, please do! If you want to add a rant or relate to something that I wrote about, go right ahead. Let's all just get a bit of stress out of our system.

In the late Mughal era, love was never a choice. It was a rebellion and rebellions were punished. Laila belongs to Delhi, a city of fading crowns and whispered poetry, where women are raised to carry dignity, silence, and obedience in equal measure. He belongs to Awadh rich, feared, and powerful. A Nawab whose authority is absolute, whose mercy is questioned, and whose name is spoken with caution. A man history would later remember only as the Beast. When fate binds a woman of refinement to a ruler of dominance, their union becomes more than forbidden it becomes dangerous. Set during the decline of the Mughal Empire, between the symbolic court of Delhi and the commanding state of Awadh, this is a story where marriages are political weapons, love is a liability, and a woman's voice is never her own. As power tightens its grip and duty demands sacrifice, Laila and the Beast must choose between the safety of submission and the ruin of love. Because some love stories are not written to survive history they are written to be destroyed by it.

I was doing so well. For years I kept myself balanced. For years I kept myself away from anything that could set me off. Then she fell directly into my lap. Jasmine Rose isn't just my rival at work- she is everything my therapist could never have known to warn me about. I only wanted to be a good writer. I only wanted to be a good friend. I only wanted to be a good man. So why did the safety switch off when she smiled? Why did I hear that familiar click when she laughed? Maybe she's too perfect to be toxic. Maybe I'm too damaged to be saved. And if she ever pressed the barrel to my temple and asked me to pull the trigger... I can't promise I'd say no. Which leaves me with one impossible question: Am I the the target? Or am I the gun?
