ON HOLD When (y/n) takes her teacher's offer to tutor a classmate, her whole world gets thrown upside down. [So, in honor of it being almost a year since I started my other Over the Garden Wall fanfic, Old Friends, I've decided to write a new Over the Garden Wall story! This one takes place in the same universe as my other one, so if there are mentions of someone you don't remember from the show, it's from the other story. You don't need to read the other one to understand this one, though. I never see any of these with Greg, so I don't know if anyone will read this, but I'm having fun writing it, so that's what matters. If you're hoping for mushy gushy romance fluff, please, consider turning back. This will be friendship for most of the story. There will be some romance otherwise it wouldn't be an xReader, but just keep in mind that love takes time. Also, it takes place far in the future from the show's time. You should get the general time lapse from clues in the story. So, in conclusion, this is the longest description of any of my stories, and most of it is useless.] (Disclaimer: Again? Yes. I don't own Over the Garden Wall. Shocker! I only own this storyline and whatever characters I add.)

I think the title sums up which fandoms this will be about. This story is basically Wirt replacing Wendy in the show. May end up with a age skip so PineScone can be a thing. My logic was, Wirt is fifteen, Wendy is fifteen, Dipper has a crush on Wendy...Why not.

You find yourself alone in the woods. In the darkness from when you woke up in the middle of the forest. You hear footsteps. Talking? As the world becomes encaptured in winter's embrace, I become involved with two lost boys, Wirt and Greg. It must be fate, for it is this encounter that leads me to the one who I've been searching for. But as our destinies entwine, I become attached to the one I call Worrywirt. What shall I do when he leaves?

Wirt has been down since moving into a new town, he wasn't very social so he doesn't have many friends. He meets an even more antisocial person that seems determined to be in his life.

In this one-shot Wirt will tell his little brother Gregory what happened to their parents when Greg was just born.

Wirt wakes up to find himself lost in the woods... again. Without Greg or Beatrice, he tries his best to find a way out until a kind boy offers to help him return home. Short Pinescone headcanon. Enjoy (: [cover art is not mine but was edited by me]

If you have watched Over the Garden Wall, and love the characters, read a fan-made prequel! It shows some character development, with a better understanding of Wirt, and the two brothers' relationship.

Lost in the Unknown, Elizabeth only knows one thing for sure. Her brothers were looking to her to get them all home, whether she liked it or not. No Pairings, Follows the events of Over the Garden Wall with only my added OC.

Just the premisis of an idea that I don't really plan on developping but just had to write. Most of the ideas of this story come from the really cool fanart I've seen. Word count: 1805

Wirt's life is going well. Unless you consider romance is part of life. Wirt is pretty sure he is back home... Pretty sure...
