This is a Wings of Fire Fanfic based off of an RP I did in WoF [Wings of Fire] Roblox. In this story, you will follow the lives of Flint, RedRunner, Princess Anarchy, and Kenobi. They will all experience hardships and will each have their own love interests. It will lead up to an ultimate decision that Flint has to make between his family and career as an Assassin and the love of his life, as the title suggests. I'd also like to give a special thanks to my friend, @Hysteria-theHivewing, for editing all of my work as my official proofreader! ^w^ (Just a little side note, I have done all of the artwork myself.) Shrike has never been regarded by his tribe as a real SkyWing. His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. Years of lost wars, unfulfilled treaties, and an excessively lavish lifestyle lived by their ruler, Queen Markhor, have left the SkyWing tribe impoverished and starving, and Shrike, the princess's personal bodyguard, has witnessed the consequences of the Queen's ignorance firsthand. A diplomacy meeting with the SeaWings gone wrong erupts in yet another bloody war, and Shrike is swept up in battle before finding himself caught in between the jaws of the political turmoil that seem to be tearing his tribe apart from the inside out. To make matters worse, a warning delivered years before by the continentally renowned prophet, Hereafter, is unraveling before Shrike's eyes, and its exhortations seem like an echo chamber awfully reminiscent of his own life. Nyx has always felt different from the other dragonets, she was more of a quiet dragon. She didn't really believe in any prophecies, especially this one, she didn't feel like she was destined to save the world. From time to time Nyx would end up passing out, and waking up tackled by the other dragonets in weird places or in dangerous situations. PSR=Please read: The story will follow the POV's of all of the dragonets, you dont need to worry about trying to guess how Nyx ends up in weird places.
