He needed a new Gamemaster to take over for him... and he was able to find the perfect victim.... Akylas had heard of this game, and he knew that it would return eventually, but he prayed it wouldn't be 2026. Everyone has lived through a few events which really have had an impact on them. This is one event which had a BIG impact on Payne. Every limb in my body is hurting. I can't move! Something is wrong! <> I was starting to panic. I did't know what was happening and that scared me. <> I was supposed to attend to a customer but I left before he arrived. I climbed out the window and down the three stories till I reached the first floor. The walls were to sleek after that so I had to jump. I was scared but I knew that whatever happened it would still be not as bad as what I would have to endure in that hellhole. I didn't know if whatever lay outside of these fences was better than this sh*thole but I needed to try. I needed to do everything I could to go someplace better. Someplace where I wouldn't be hurt. I needed to go to the same place where the customers came from. If the old man treated them so well then they came from somewhere better, right? Yeah! <> These were my last thoughts before I let go of the wall and hit the ground with a slight bump. My left foot was hurting really bad but I ignored it. <<You've had much worse pain than that! Don't let it slow you down!>> With that thought I pressed my back to the wall so that I became one with the darkness of the night. I held my breath and listened carefully. There were two guards in this part of the property. I waited till both of them were at the other side of the building and ran as fast as I could to the fence, not paying any attention to my painfully hurting foot. "Where do you think you're going?", said a voice. It came right in front of me but we had new moon and it was winter so there was no light to see anything.
