Meredith Gresley. District twelves "first" female victor. She won the 53rd hunger games. Her time as a mentor hasn't been fun and her games were awful and traumatizing. Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Katniss Everdeen didn't go to save Peeta Mellark right away? Or what would have happened to Panem if Katniss hadn't become the Mockingjay? I've questioned the events in "The Hunger Games" Triology, and this is my take on how a small shift of events can affect Panem's future forever.

Years after the hunger games and the rebellion all living hunger games victors receive a letter telling them they have to go back and finish high school. Also Finnick is alive (it just fits better with the story and provides some comic relief.) This doesn't follow the epilogue just so y'all know.

The rebellion failed and the games continued. The reformation games which took place in 88 took out almost all the victors, including Katniss and Peeta. But they had a child. Artemis Everdeen had no interest in leading any rebellion or anything, she only wanted to live her life in District 12 but the 100th hunger games and the fourth quarter quell changed that. May the odds be in your favor!
