"Why on earth had I decided to try camping in the woods without a tent?" With no recollection of who she is or how she got there, 20 year old "E" wakes up alone in a forest with nothing except the clothes she is wearing. Driven by the need to know more, she is plunged into the world of Halcyon, where mysterious fights for control dominate the surroundings. Soon, a new but familiar threat rears its ugly head and E has to unite with the mysterious assassins Taka and Koshka in order to defeat it. But things are only getting started and soon matters get out of hand. Secrets are revealed and mysteries are solved but our heroes may soon find out there is an even bigger enigma hiding in plain sight. A/N This story is a fanfiction but you shouldn't actually need to know anything about vainglory to read it. All relevant information that you need to know should be available within the story.
