let's be real... life is hard for a type 1 diabetic. For the ten or eleven (I forget which) years I've been diabetic, I've heard you can cure it with lettuce, you can take pills to manage it, you can lose weight to get rid of it, but they don't realize that that is type two. type two is cause by insulin resistance whereas type 1 is an auto-immune disorder. This book will be a peak into my feelings about everyday life with diabetes

This is about how I am surviving with type one diabetes and the experiences I have gone through to get where I am today. This book is more for people with type one diabetes (T1D). They will better relate to my stories but could also be informative to people who do not have T1D to show what it is like to go through the experiences of being a T1D.

This is just if people have questions about my diabetes or anything related to that.

Control it, before it controls you.... This is some advice I was recently given from a doctor when I was hospitalized... I've been a type one diabetic for as long as I can remember. I've seen a lot of things and I've dealt with a lot of things. To put it simply, I know the life pretty well. This is a guide, maybe to someone who has recently been diagnosed. Or maybe to someone who wants to better understand it. Or maybe to someone who knows someone with type one diabetes. Either way, as someone who has fought this battle for almost 15 years, as of July 2020, I know there's something you must remember. Control it, before it controls you.

Niall is intelligent but hides it, he also has type one diabetes which he can handle but no-one believes in him.
